Ovidiu Grozescu (born in 1964; nationality: Romanian) graduated from the University of Brașov, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, in 1988. Straight after the political transition in Romania, he worked as a partner and managing director in several private companies in a range of sectors. In September 2011 he became the Managing Director of energenta polymers srl. After an initial period as a dealer in waste plastics and ground product for material recycling and a supplier of system components for the Romanian artificial-fertiliser and gas industry, since 2017 he has expanded the company into one of Romania’s largest suppliers of new EPS, PP and PE. In parallel, the construction of a dedicated production line for the manufacture of stud plates with a high recycled component for underfloor heating has been underway since 2019.
